Over 600 Trophies
Three teams together
Trabzonspor emerged in 1966 as a result of the merger of several local teams. Although it was initially considered to be İdmanocağı and İdmangücü, both teams could not come together due to some local disagreements. Following this, football teams named Martıspor, İdmangücü, and Karadenizgücü were united under one roof, forming an organization called Trabzonspor Youth Club in 1966. On August 2, 1967, its name was changed to Trabzonspor due to the dissolution of the İdmanocağı team. Trabzonspor news includes all the details of this impressive history.
